Koutoubia Mosque

The Koutoubia Mosque and a palm tree illuminated by a flash. The Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakech, Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, Morocco. The minaret was used as the model for the Giralda of Seville and for the Hassan Tower of Rabat. This photo was taken in the evening of a sunny day in February of 2010.
